BRIEF
For The Macallan, getting the right oak to make the right casks is just about the most important thing when it comes to their whisky.
So when they came to us for the launch of their newest whisky – The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old – we knew we had to do something to show off the oak at the heart of it.
Only thing is, rigorous wood managements policies can (occasionally) fail to capture the imagination of a 20/30-something spirits drinker.
IDEA
Our solution – take the same wood used to make the casks, and turn it into something that will capture attention. Enter the Double Cask Guitar.
Expertly crafted by luthier Philippe Debruille (previous clients inc. Mark Ronson, Iggy Pop, Oasis, and Aerosmith) our guitar even has a measure of the new whisky built into it.
RESULTS
Five guitars = five assets for five global markets.
Each executed with local nuance in mind resulting in a reach of half a billion with millions of social views.
